ABOUT ME

EXPERIENCE

I have been working with clients with chronic pain, chronic health conditions, women's health issues, medical trauma, insomnia, depression, and anxiety for over 10 years. Together, we work to minimize stress, pain, and discomfort while maximizing quality of life. I provide both brief and long-term therapy to help clients set and reach goals according to their own personal values.

I use an eclectic style that incorporates cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and dialectical behavior therapy. I work flexibly, tailoring my approach to the unique strengths of each client. If you are looking for a mental health provider who wears a suit and is politely distant, you’ve got the wrong gal. I use humor, self disclosure, and sarcasm regularly in my sessions and find this allows for an environment where folks feel more at ease sharing their experiences and facilitates rapport.
